I’ve always loved words – clever phrases that make us prick up our ears and listen. Powerful messages that create interest and stimulate desire. Persuasive content that encourages us to think carefully and feel confident in our choices. I graduated with a BA Hons in English Literature/History of Ideas from Cardiff University Wales, then taught English in Europe for two years before going into publishing. For five years I worked my way up to the role of editor in consumer and specialist technical magazines. In 2008 I moved into financial services communications, where I retrained as a marketer.
